Prime SF (Support Frame) provides an adjustable layered interface between any backing wall and the Prime Rainscreen system.
Designed by CA Building Products and manufactured in-house Prime SF (Support Frame) is incorporated into all of the Prime Rainscreen systems. The frame can easily accommodate simple projections of 100mm to 300mm, with deeper projections available on request.
The ventilation void can be maintained to meet the recommendations from CWCT. This is achieved through the adjustment in length on the main bracket.
Depending on the access available on site, CA Building Products can assist the project’s critical path by supplying the support frame in both part assembled and stick format. All holes and slots will be pre-punched during manufacture to allow for greater efficiency.
Prime SF is made up of five basic components; main bracket, mullion or transom profile, sleeve connection for transom profile and fixing which is stainless steel, self drilling and self tapping. Prime II, Prime III and Prime V will require transom elements; this will also apply to Prime VII in some applications.
Prime SF is fabricated from aluminium. It sits in the void behind the Prime Rainscreen where the risk of corrosion is greatly reduced.
