Prime RFX (formerly Prime III)

Prime RFX is a recessed fixed panel system.

Recessed Fix Rainscreen Panel

Prime-III-Close-Up

With the fixings hidden in the recess where the panels meet, Prime RFX adds visual depth to the building facade. In order to obtain a clean design all of the recesses in the joint have been developed so that the colour continues into the space between the panels. To ensure a robust fixing arrangement each panel is fixed on two edges and through fixed to the other two sides. A contrast colour can also be provided in the joint recess, to add further depth, depending on the choice of material.

The factory formed corners deliver clean and crisp changes of direction. This is especially prominent when the vertical facade becomes a soffit or coping detail. We offer other features to meet the design requirements including the addition of smooth vertical corners, subject to a limitation on length.

Panels can also be provided with provision for local stiffening to accommodate signage and/or CCTV cameras. Interfaces with glazing can be formed as part of the panel system, incorporating returns into windows or door openings. Prime RFX Rainscreen can utilise window pods easily. These make an ideal transition and complement the closing detail providing a clear differentiation between cladding and glazing.

Prime RFX Rainscreen has been independently tested at Wintech Engineering in line with the stringent CWCT standards for systemised building envelopes.  For more information click here.

Prime systems can be supplied in a spectrum of colours and materials, such as: Aluminium, ACM Natural, ACM Design, Brass, Copper, Stainless Steel and Zinc.

These include ACM (Aluminium Composite Material), copper, plywood and steel. A key […]

Prime SFX (formerly Prime V)

Prime SFX has evolved from the PlanoWall Rainscreen system with enhancements made to meet the CWCT testing criteria.  Like the PlanoWall system before it Prime SFX is based on a system of cassette panels which interlock on the uppermost edge, concealing the panel fixings.  With Prime SFX the spanning capacity has also […]

Prime HPX (formerly Prime VII)

Prime HPX comprises of a support structure which is typically Prime SF which uses brackets to fix the vertical mullion hook carriage to the frame. A project specific delivery can be developed by determining the design and wind performance requirements, this allows us to calculate the hook centres and support pins. Prime HPX allows a […]
